China Airlines has enhanced its connectivity with Japan by launching a new daily service between Taichung and Okinawa. This addition increases the airline’s total round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170 each week, underscoring its commitment to expanding its reach in the region.
The new route is serviced by an Airbus A321neo. The inaugural flight, CI310, departs from Taichung at 10:00 a.m., reaching Okinawa by 12:40 p.m. The return journey, flight CI311, takes off from Okinawa at 1:40 p.m., landing back in Taichung at 2:10 p.m.
Further expanding its offerings, China Airlines has announced plans to introduce a second daily service starting on August 13. This new schedule will see flight CI312 leaving Taichung at 3:20 p.m. and arriving in Okinawa at 6:00 p.m. The return flight, CI313, is set to depart Okinawa at 7:00 p.m., returning to Taichung by 7:30 p.m.
With these new services, along with existing flights from Taipei and Kaohsiung, China Airlines will now operate approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa each week. This expansion significantly boosts travel options for both business and leisure travelers between Taiwan and Japan.
